Viborg finished 7th in the 12 team Danish Superleague and qualified by winning the relegation play-off round - they stayed at the top of the bottom 6.
It’s reasonably good achievement to qualify for this comp from the Premier League but it seems that you don’t have to do much in some of the more modest European leagues.

Sure is, like Spuds last season losing to some Slovenian team that were only formed 9 years ago.
And don’t say Spuds didn’t take it seriously, they put out near full strength teams.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

Re-branded Intertoto cup that identifies small/desperate teams by how serious they take it.

Top level European competition
The final last season was contested by Roma and Feyenoord, both fairly significant European sides I would suggest!
