If we continue to play like we did against Brentford we’ll be 2-0 down at half time every game.
That was the 1st game I been to this season but we tried the same thing over and over. Get it to Rice or Paq, get it out wide, put a cross in. There was barely any variety and therefore predictable to all. Our set pieces have been absolute dogshit this season. Always thought we had a chance with them but not anymore. We need to get the ball to scamaccas feet, not his head.
Spot on, even then when we have chance to put first time cross in Cresswell will take a touch and turn back.🤦‍♂️
Yep. Gives their defence time to get back and naturally make it harder for us

We have no leadership anywhere on the pitch all Rice does is flap his fucking arms around like a spoilt child
The players demeanour looks like a team that has zero confidence.
Would love to be a fly on the wall in our fucking dressing room.

Think I said similar a while back, but it was misinterpreted. Rice, as I have previously said, wasn't a good choice for captain, but the only one that stood out for me to fill the spot was Dawson. Think thoughts will have to go on who the band goes too next. I won't continue...

Really don't have a problem with Rice being captain , don't remember anyone questioning his age when he got the job , actually remember some questioning why he hadn't got it earlier when Noble who wasn't playing was still club captain .
Problem for me is Moyes , he has initiated a certain way of playing which is totally different to the course he set us on , brought in a few players in the summer who haven't actually improved the squad or the way we are performing .
Rice has been given a new role as a box to box midfielder by Moyes , though he does a blinding job as the Holding Midfielder for England as he used to do for us , why has this change come about only Moyes can answer that .

I have a sneaky feeling that Rice could answer it also. As you say, he did a good job as a holding midfielder, the only gripe he himself had, all be it a small one, was he wasn't scoring enough goals. Seems goals have become a rare commodity recently.

A genuine question for Moyes backers

Post by palerider »

You'll know my two penn'th. But this is for you. I'm not judging, not criticising, but I will make an important assumption.

That we won't sack him and we survive relegation, by hook or by crook.

And also assuming we won't win a cup, although it's possible, would you be happy for him to carry on next season ?

Two factors are not assumptions, but givens. That the choices of alternatives in the summer will be far greater than they are now and that Moyes will not alter his style of play. I think that's fair. So once more we'll be pretty unattractive to watch under him and there's a final given. Our best player will have left.

Well ?

He spent half the afternoon on KUMB trying to find posts,so he could try and rinse me on here. What a piece of low life you are
Right . I’m going to do MY Kumb impression now .
This ends now . We ain’t Kumb . We are close knit and we don’t do this .
Whisk. Don’t answer that post . I’ve only left that part there to make the point . It ends now .
This forum being a pretty negative board that's quiet when all is well and then lights up as soon as we lose a game is hilarious. After Allardyce made us terrible, then it was the boards fault, then its Bilic's, then its Pellegrini's, then its the boards fault and now its Moyes fault there is such a build up of hate that unless there is someone to argue against the 50 anti-Moyes threads, everyone starts turning in on themselves. It's like this board will implode and it's kind of funny and a great watch.

This time in the red corner we have the person who spent his career in finance in the city who loves an anti Jewish comment (because apparently no Jews are offended by the term Kike) who thinks he is always right but who shops in Tesco Stevenage and claims to live not in Monaco but Welwyn Garden City after obviously killing it on the financial markets and who has an obsession with slagging off Said Benrahma.

And in the blue corner we have poor old Terry who loves to build peoples egos up but having worshipped the Stevenage Madoff, has suddenly realised his idol is flawed

And both slag off KUMB but seem to be happy to post there.

Quality entertainment.

Well I'm certainly glad it's brightening up your sad little life. Here's a little more information. I rarely shop in the Stevenage Tesco, far too upmarket, the branch in Hatfield is nearer and therefore much more convenient. And of course there are far fewer kikes in Hatfield which makes it a more pleasurable shopping experience.

Sadly I have never lived in Monaco, so I'm not sure where you got that from. I have been there twice but you are clearly confusing me with someone else from the Jewish illuminati in your address book. Nor do I think I have ever slagged off KUMB. Unless of course saying it is a tad over moderated counts as slagging off, not inconceivable in your, no doubt, perfect world.

Still, as I said, I am so pleased you get enjoyment from theinternecine squabblings you refer to. You clearly need an outlet as from what I read it is now much more difficult, because of a wall, for people like your good self to confront others who have the affrontery to support a club other than West Ham in order to release the tensions from which you clearly suffer in your daily life.
