Reading this thread and it's clear a lot of you boys can't analyse a game and the issues within.
No worries. I will help.
Today
Antonio - It happened before and it's happened again. All gone to his head and now thinks he can play. He can't. He is a one dimensional battering ram and not a good footballer. When he tries to play football and doesn't give 100%, like today, it's embarrassing.
Ogbonna - I called it before the season. Time caught up with him and will be a liability this season, like today.
Soucek - Donkey. Embarrassing in possession. When he doesn't score he ain't worth a rub of soap. Appalling today.
Rice - Ego out of control and playing for himself not the team. Summed up when he wasted a good free kick because he wanted to shoot. Should have sold him in summer.
Dawson - League 1 player, as I stated when he signed.
A bit of perspectives what's needed here.
A lot of our players today have played international football of some kind in the past week. That mixed with the traveling involved has got to take it's toll on the body. You simply cannot perform as you would normally do on a normal weekend. If you're carrying any type of knock you haven't the time to recover properly. On any other given day we would have buried that lot today, it didn't happen, but nonetheless we still managed a point and a clean sheet. It's fair to say Moyes may well have fucked up the subs, but he's allowed that.
Onward and upward. And unlike some, still unbeaten.
He should have thought about some of the players that had a lot more play time in the Internationals.
We did tire towards the end and you could understand why.
Moyes has to be a bit more cleverer this season with how he uses the players for it to be a success.I said what we could have done with an Edourdo in our squad after his double in just 6 minutes of play.He would have been ideal after 70 minutes.
Wasn't Benrahma away on international duty ? He certainly played like he'd overdone the falafel and chips.

I only watched the limited highlights on MOTD.
Dawson did well to head away in the first half but fucked up when the mafia geezer hit the post. Soucek should have scored. A sitter by his standards. Other than that fuck all.
The game was crying out for the genius of Charlie Adam.
As for the red card, it may do us a favour. It will obviously make Moyes change his plans for Manure and I doubt Micky would have got much change out of slabhead and Varane anyway with his battering ram approach. And his hamstrings will be letting out a sigh of relief too.
