Unless you have experienced racism first hand then you are talking from a position of ignorance and to say it doesn'texist in the UK means you are part of the issue.

My best mate back in the 80's was Indian and I got into so many fights because racist twats wanted to have a pop at him saying it was 'banter', and since then have refused to tolerate any form of racism from anyone, but continue to see and hear it especially working in London.

I would also include positive discrimination which is equally as devisive and shouldn't happen. Education is the key to solving the problem, not legislation.

Totally off topic but imo relevant to this thread. I've just binge watched, because there's fuck all else on UKTV at the moment. Series One of the ABC production of "American Crime". produced by John Ridley. Deals with all the racial and prejudicial stuff in a dramatic setting. Won't be everyone's cup of tea but, trust me, it's a bloody good watch.

And there are two more series for me to watch. Which is great, considering the shit I am paying to subsidise with my UK tv licence.
