Turkey now on the red list. No direct flights from the UK and although guidance says don't go there, it's not illegal. 10 days quarantine at a government hotel upon return at your own cost. But will some try ?
Of course they will.
Short of making it against the law, and even then a few would stick two fingers up at that, to see your team in a CL final would be worth the cost. Even just being outside the ground.
So what to do ? UEFA, bless them, have dismissed the very idea of holding it in England. Their main argument is not enough time for 'rebranding'. Which of course is tech-speak for advertising. Which brings in the money for them in spades. Bollocks to public safety. For a final with very few fans, tv income trumps that minor inconvenience.
That's what it boils down to. Ceferin blowing a fuse over the ESL three weeks back as 12 clubs wanted to protect their huge income. Which was despicable. Yet he's doing the very same.

Proving UEFA are just as corrupt as all the rest.
I would like to see Chelsea and Man City refuse to travel citing 10 day quarrantine protocols. And it would be entirely Uefa's own fault. If they make shit decisions then they must accept shit outcomes.

Common sense will never win over money.Just look at the Qatari World Cup.
The Euros start just 12 days after the CL Final,so how will that effect everything id they have to quarantine for 10 days?UEFA runs both of these competitions too.Don't think it has been properly thought about?

Everyone wants to bleed the game.....for their own aims, which is for directly or indirectly financial reasons.
In a way it's worse UEFA do all their self serving money making scams under the guise of it's good for Footie...
The Privateers/Owners Might try and say that, but everyman and his dog(Whoops..Everyone.... ) cant say Man anymore....
Knows it's about the bucks.
Makes UEFA Bods a bunch of Commies.. ..and the, it's best for the people mantra..... while sucking of profits for themselves.
Following the realisation they're beginning to look like a bunch of cunts, UEFA are considering holding it in Blighty but only if it's Wembley which would clash with the play-off final. Although Lisbon is also a possibility.
But should it be Wembley they'll demand quarantine exemptions for 3000 UEFA officials.
I know we're winning the covid war here but is one game of football that important ?

Play the game in Gdansk, same as the Europa Final. Poland apparently is OK Covid wise so no problems with quarantining on return to the UK and no issue for UEFAs army of personnel, although I suspect the figure of 3000 iw just a tad exaggerated.
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?
