The Ashes

Post by palerider »

Burns out first ball of the series, 147 all out.

Start as you mean to continue chaps.

But you're dealing with racism in cricket which is all the public really care about.

I never even knew the Test series was happening Al .

That’s how irrelevant it’s become in the news nowadays.

There must be something more important going on.

I don’t believe a word of it.

There was a time I'd have stayed up all night watching it mate but no longer.

It's become a fucking altar to woke.

I don't know if the cunts took the knee but it wouldn't surprise me.

They did, but they were waving a white flag at the time.

About right mate.

With Aseem Rafiq pissing on their heads and collecting 200k every time he passed GO no doubt.

QUESTION :Why did Root choose to bat first in unsettled conditions? It's normal to have a bowl.. :?

When it's warm and sunny, you have a bat.

I knew we'd be in trouble straight away,

I didn't watch it as I've said Terry but putting the opposition in and it backfiring is a big fear for every captain and I guess Root thought they could tough it out, with the bonus of having the convicts batting last on a spinning pitch after he picked Leach over Broad.

The downside to that cunning plan is that you have to score more than fuck-all in the first innings (and probably less than fuck-all in the second) for that to work.

And I genuinely think that since Cook retired he's been playing test teams on his own. And the break in intensity for preparation with having to answer stupid fucking questions about who called who what in the changing room on top of cricket's very own BLM homage in which a member of the team is hauled over the coals for a tweet he made when he was about 5 is addling the poor cunt's brain.

I’m not a great cricket fan but one headline stood out for me this morning.

England win toss and decide to collapse. Made me chuckle.
