Cider

Post by palerider »

Don't drink it normally. Too sweet. But bought four bottles on the IOW last week which were 'very dry'.

Drinking them now. 7.4 % proof.

Fuck me.

I have a new friend.

Favourite summer drink over ice, don't even need to spend lots, the dry cider from Aldi is pretty good

I’m not normally a cider drinker either but….

I went to my cousins pub in Richmond. No parking round there so left car on my mates drive in twickenham and had a catch up. He enticed me into sharing a cider with him (he’s not much of a drinker so I think he’s a bit gay).

So then I went on to my cousins pub, decided I enjoyed said cider at my mates. Ended up drinking 11 pints of the stuff (according to my Mrs). Nice on a hot summers day but not as much as a headache in the morning to show for my troubles.

I do think I woulda drunk more and ended up on some whiskey or whatever, had the wife not been with me so it’s her fault I never got a hangover. Was nice cider though, whatever it was

I've found that cider can be one of those pretentious drinks, where brand can come into it. As long as it's dry and doesn't give you furry teeth like most of the berry and pear ones, it's good to go.

This sharing business. Did it involve each of you drinking through a straw from the same glass with your cheeks , the facial ones I must add, touching ?

Substitute "enticed" with "seduced" and you could sell the film rights to the dwarf. ;)
