Mark Cavendish equals Eddy Merckx record of the Tour de France of 34 stage tour wins. He is now the best sprint finisher in history and could break this record to be the best in the world. With 2 Tour stage sprints left could break the 34 mark.

I know fuck all about chopper racing, so stay with me. If Cavendish is a sprinter, why bother entering the Tour, if he has no chance on winning?
