A random act of kindness

Post by palerider »

George, my 85 year old neighbour hasn't been able to get his covid jab because he can't drive anymore and had no-one to take him. The place is 14 miles away.

So I offered. However I hadn't realised he meant taking him back as well so after sitting in the car park for 5 minutes I went to the pub. I'm fucking bladdered now but I'll pick him up tomorrow.

We have to do what we can.

A fine gesture indeed my learned friend.
I'm sure he can find a park bench or a grass verge to bed down for the night. Toileting may be a problem, but a dump in a carrier bag should see him alright.
I hope you're charging him for the petrol my good man, diesels damned expensive these days. If not I'd pop round his house, and have a rummage. They normally keep the dosh under the bed.

Down there for dancing, my good fellow.
Love a cup of Rosey I do.

I’d have thought , with your strange tastes , you were more likely to have a rummage whilst he’s there
Bring back Jonathon !

Possibly.
But I'm having trouble with my taser. Last time I was out on the creep, I accidentally fried an old biddy. It was a bastard getting her in the boot. Took me ages getting the stench out!

I know the feeling. But I've got a soft spot for George. The NHS texted me to say he's found an old rabbit warren to kip down in and they've given him some bread and water.

It's why we clapped for the nurses on Thursdays Gawd bless 'em.

George is safe at home now but while he was out for the night someone broke in and stole his brand new plasma tv.

Some people.

A shameful act sir P.
I'd check that his money's still there. It was in the spare room cupboard at the back under a stack of porn.
