I thought Max drove very harshly indeed as resulted in his crash with Hamilton. He should of at least allowed Hamilton the width as telemetry showed Max's steering wheel veering sharply towards Hamilton causing a collision. My opinion appears that this was just a racing incident but the stewards felt differently. As a result Hamilton was awarded a 10 second penalty. With Max out of the race, Lewis can now climb back those points back. Max's crashed ended quite badly and as a precautionary action was taken to Hospital for brain scans.

Lewis Hamilton climbed through the field and with the help of Bottas was able to catch LeClerc and pass him for the win with 3 laps remaining. This will be Hamilton's 8th British Grand Prix win. 🏆

With Max scoring no points, Hamilton is 8 points away from Max in the WC.

LeClerc came 2nd and Bottas 3rd.

Again the McLaren boys did well with Norris 4th and great drive and improved Ricciardo to come 5th. Strong points and looking good.

Carlos Sainz came 6th.

Sadly once again after a penalty, George Russell was yet gain deprived of points for the Williams team that came 12th and 14th.
Saw the last few laps when Hamilton was 8 seconds behind leclerc. I dunno what happened beforehand and when pit stops were but what a race by Hamilton at the end to take top spot. He made it look really easy

Watta a race. With Hamilton on Pole, what could go wrong!.......... Well it did.

Bottas caused a major collision on the first lap which took 6 cars out, he bumped into Lando Norris which shunted other cars off the track. Due to debri, a red and stoppage of the race. Not sure in the strategy of Mercedes put Hamilton in last place.

Hamilton climbed through the field and ended up 3rd after the race. With Verstappen claiming 10th place and 1 point puts Hamilton in the lead of the WC....

Great job by Alonso to hold Hamilton up, which allowed Ocon to win his first Grand Prix. Alonso becomes driver of the day.

3 weeks off now due to summer break. :)

Vettel who came 2nd in race is disqualified due to fuel regulations. This promotes all the drivers apart from Ocon who came first. Great tally of points for Williams who gained 10 in total. :)

Not much of a race but following each other after qualifying. :(

What a bloody shambles and points awarded to following the safety car.

The only good bit of news is that George Russell got a podium and Williams scored another 10 points. Hamilton was furious and asked the FIA to refund the spectators money.......

This was one of the few races I couldn’t watch live.
I spent all day trying to avoid the result. Got home to watch the highlights, only to watch an utter shambles!!
I think I got a bit lucky missing that one! 😂
