I prefer to look at players from lesser teams or leagues, who are looking for an opportunity to shine in the big time.
I get the feeling (prior to any transfer) that players who come from the bigger clubs to little ol' West Ham are here to take one last payday, or will give a half-arse effort because they may feel we are beneath them.
I can't see us laying £25m unless they get Valenica out the door as he can cover centre forward and wing (when he's actually fit) and we can't get in a proper striker but I wouldn't be anywhere near happy with it
