Stiff up lips at the top
Cheeky chappies at the bottom.

It's the same in whatever game you're in ?...

42 lbs of Semtex attached to a bus and a vastly different salary dictates that I have no sympathy for Moyes

my overriding experience of life is ... just get on with it.

Exactly. While it could never be 'anyone but Moyes' because that would put Bruce, Pulis and BFS in the frame it's as close as.

Not a good watch , wasn't keen when we were linked with Lopegetui months ago , but was starting to warm to him of late , but not after watching Geo talking to Wolves fans . :?
Though I quess we'll just have to get behind him if he gets the job .
I guess the Wolves thing depends on which version of the story you beieve. Was he told there would be a certain amount of funds available which, when push can me to shove they weren't, or was he told the transfer fund was used up in the winter window. I'mk not worried about the "Lopetegui will always do what's best for Lopetegui" comment. He's an employee of the club and if a better offer comes along I would expect him to do what any of us would in the same circumstances.. One thing did come across loud and clear. A yes man he isn't. And I like that.

The only "evidence" of his ability I've got really is what he did at Wolves. 20th when he arrived, 13th at the end of the season. That is a decenbt achievement imo. The hard work starts now for him and Steidten. Bringing in a decent quality of player to revitalise a tired, ageing and stagnating squad isn't going to be easy. And imo the business needs to be done early to enable Lopetegui to have a proper pre season with the squad.

I don't know why anyone would have sympathy for any manager who gets replaced tbh. They are protected by a contract which has to be honoured so they won't be needing to sign on at the local Jobcentre any time soon.

Moyes has been employed on decent money and has reached the end of his shelf life. He's not going to starve.

I’m inclined to agree . Just got the annual humiliation at Citeh to suffer then it’s party time.

Just thought I’d chip in with this .

Even though the English in this thread title is fucking disgraceful (even for you Ibby  ) , it’s a vast improvement on the title of the Lopetegui thread over on KUMB.
Christ can you imagine one of us coming up with THAT ?

Considering the bloke who started the thread has a full time job in local government , means he probably works about 30 hours a month, that should tell you all you need to know.

You know what they say about people with too much time on their hands. :(

The spelling and grammar on this site are disgraceful, I am hoping it improves with a new Manager. ;)
