Not denying we were poor. That’s pretty much every game. The blades player weren’t even facing the direction of the ball though. Ridiculous decision
This takes me back to the good old Hammers Mad days when the board was full of Blunts baying for Tevez’s blood and marching on Parliament in protest like a load of girls .

It was a foul and maybe more on Areola so to give a pen was a pisstake.
As for the Bowen incident, I was lucky enough (or maybe less than lucky given the view), to be right behind that goal net where the incident happened and it was a blatant pen and that's not just my opinion
What annoys me about both incidents is the fact that VAR did nothing about the first and in the second gave handball which is bollocks because he only handled it because he was falling after being fouled. What is the point of VAR if they won't intervene properly when an obvious error has occurred.
Stats mean nothing when the officiating robs you of the chance to consolidate 6th and put 5 points between us and the next team.
I agree with both red cards though but we should have left with 3 points.
I am so sick of all this whining, fact of the matter is we wasnt good enough to win the game, if you don`t put teams to the sword you get punished, just ask Brighton Chelsea Arsenal and spurs.

Agreed. It was there to be won, but we didn’t do enough to ensure the outcome remained in our hands.
