Xmas Day

Post by Flairon »

In this age of ever increasing worldwide demand for televised Premier League games, how long before we have at least one game on Christmas Day. I would not be against it tbh.

I’m sure somebody will correct me but I’m pretty sure Xmas day 11am ko was traditional when I was a kid .

Admittedly before most of yours time but Xmas AND Boxing Day games were the norm if memory serves.

I wouldn’t go to one on Christmas Day but I’d happily watch it on the box

Neither, bad enough shops opening 7 days a week 364 days a year, who wants to actually spoil christmas day with dross.?

Getting as bad as kids who cant be a minute without mobiles for lack of ideas as to what to do.

TBF it is not a new concept. We have played on Xmas Day before, albeit some 65 years ago.
