I don't consider Areola to be in any way at fault for the second goal. Any goalkeeper would have expected Aguerd to deal with what should have been a routine clearance. You say Areola should have shouted something to him. What exactly would you suggest ? Aguerd knew what he was supposed to do, presumably that's why he jumped. Unfortunately his jump was mis timed.

As for your second point that is palpably ridiculous. I don't hate any players, nor do I love any. But I do think some are good at their jobs and others aren't. You shouldn't confuse criticism with hate. In fact if you read my posts about Aguerd I have said that I think he has a decent skill set. I just don't think he is good enough to play in the PL as a central defender. And judging from the comments in the mainstream media and various other social media comments a lot of other people share the same opinion.
You don’t think Areola should be off his line quicker and yelling at defender to leave? Both made errors in that goal it is an easy take for a keeper.
You letting your hatred of Aguerd cloud your judgement. Wonder why both Liverpool & Citeh apparently looking at him if he so shite?
As I said I don't hate any player. Why are City and Liverpool looking at him ? Probably to decide how to best play against him to exploit his weaknesses. Hopefully Liverpool don't do it as succesfully as City did.

So no criticism of Areola for the goal?
I thought both players were very good apart from this goal.
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

Probably because as a ball playing central defender he would fit into their systems very well .

Low block Moyesball backs to the wall incessant pressure which deems 100% concentration required for 100+ minutes per match ? …. Not so much .

Aguerd was purchased for last seasons transitional possession based West Ham .
Yeah I know . I didn’t see it either .
Bring back Jonathon !

Got us results against Chelsea and brighton. Not saying it catches the eye but not many teams will do either of those by 3 goals.
I think brighton will finish top4 so that result alone is genius however we did it.

Can't disagree , apart from the bit about Brighton finishing top 4. Pretty it isn't but football is a results business.

i get that point of view, but im not buying it...we rely on a lot of luck and the defence are ALWAYS under massive pressure, never any composure and a sense of being able to pass the ball about without looking clueless...moyes gives himself away every time saying its all about results?
yea up to a point you one plan jock cunt
