They certainly know how to suck the life out of football don't they.
You just have to hope that one day (sooner rather than later hopefully) these cunts will be gone. And finally just maybe this club of ours can move forward.
Love a cup of Rosey I do.

We would be laughing our bollox off if it were the spuds, it's like reading a comedy, unfortunately it's us and one that actually started a season and a half ago.

Moyes should have gone end of season as we all, well many, knew, but no! what does the retarded midget do?! brings in someone to sort out things that , knowing both sides stand points, has only made matters worse.

If Moyes contract had been terminated at the proper time , and if you have to ask then it's not worth an answer, we could have spent time pre season doing something more constructive, now we got this situation, and if Moyes gets the heave ho, which I hope is soon, we will have no or little time to repair the damage that the Scottish twat created with the help of the moronic midget playing football tycoon badly.

You ain’t wrong. I’m not past caring but I am growing numb and deaf towards all the politics coz it’s just so bloody ridiculous. Like you, I see no change or end to it all until both are gone. Nothing we can say will change it. I will just wait but I won’t hold my breath

Borges update

Post by palerider »

It's progressing slowly.

In final stages of trial. Not yet to convince McFuckwit however that he can head corners out from under his own bar and win 50 defensive challenges per game. Hopeful that the deal can be completed by 2029.

Updates to follow..........

Even ancient history is rearing its ugly head. A very good mate of mine, a West Ham fan and former ST holder, won a large sum of money when we were relegated under Grant. The day the Israeli was appointed he placed a big bet despite being a Hammers fan. Bet from the head not the heart he told everyone, including me. And it paid off for him.

Guess what ? Fast forward a decade and he's just e mailed me to say he's lumped a big wager with Bet 365 at, would you believe, 14-1 on us going down at the end of the season. I have a feeling he could well be cashing in big time come next May. At 14-1 I may even have a dabble myself, although, stupid as it sounds, I would feel a little odd about backing the team I support to crash and burn.

But those odds are attractive. And if Steidten walks, as is strongly rumoured, I don't see them being available for long.

My take on it....

We've signed nobody. The season is two weeks away and there's a good chance we'll have the same start to it as last year because of Moyes and the lack of new blood. If he wants JWP just offer a sensible fee as he'll need at least that time to gel with the squad. It's all very well playing hardball but this should have been done weeks ago. We're getting desperate.

And the fact JWP is included in today's Saints squad against AZ proves they're not just rolling over. There was a suggestion that him being left out against Bournemouth the other day was a 'sign'.

So in a roundabout answer to your question, no, not 50m of course but 27m plus 3m add ons would to me have been a good starting place and should have been offered as soon as the window opened. We knew Rice was leaving.
This about sums it up

“History shows West Ham have a tendency of making underwhelming opening offers and that is continuing this summer, a case in point being the £20m offer for Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse, which was rejected out of hand.”

And not written by any of the contributors on here, but still a season ticket holder and a regular at away matches.

Far be it from me to remotely defend the obnoxious short arsed little porn baron, however I can't bring myself to criticise asnyone for throwing in a lowball offer to test the water. In any case I would argue that £20 million for Ward-Prowse is not the "insulting offer" it is reported to have been. And is it anyone's fault other than Manchester United if they massively overpaid for Maguire ?
