wasnt exactly rocket scientist level thinking needed to come up with that amazing and forward thinking insight...every season someone comes up with the same /similar statement
Of course it wasn't. But when we often read the bollocks posted by some of our thicker fans (and I bet the same happens on other clubs' forums) about "West Ham being the 15th richest club in the world" it doesn't do any harm when someone like Shearer states the fucking obvious, does it ?
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?

It seems like it has been a relegation battle from day one this season, the two big home wins against Man U and Leeds saved our season.

We were already safe before the Leeds game. And played with a bit of freedom. The United game definitely but the game that saved the season for me was winning at Fulham. With 23% possession. I know that it's not the be all and end all but it doesn't half put you in the shit if you don't get everything right defensively.

Luckily we did that day and lady luck smiled on us in that Mitrovic was out and we won through an own goal. But the danger was still there with two weeks left. Who wasn't praying for the victims to beat Leicester and hoping Leeds wouldn't beat Newcastle ?

It should NEVER have come down to such fine margins. The season started like a dog's breakfast when McDullard admitted we weren't ready for Man City on the opening day.

Not ready ? Being beaten sure but not ready ?

Fuck off. The cunt has to go.

That’s just one of his inane comments . His 3 year tenure is absolutely full of shocking statements like that .

But while we have the “but he’s got us 2 top 7 finishes a European semi and now a European final AT LEAST in 3 seasons “ brigade what chance do you have ?
Apart from 2 cracking performances in last seasons EL and the trampling of Europe’s dregs in this years conference league we have witnessed 18 months of utter garbage .
Bring back Jonathon !

If the team was not ready then that is down to one person and one person only.
First 8 games..... 24 points up for grabs and our masterful tactician managed ...4 points

So were we not ready for any of these 8 games or was he just making his usual pathetic excuses to soften the blow of 6 losses in the first games of the season.....that is just incompetence in my eyes
