Absolutely not. I welcome the club's involvement in any European competition and regard this competition as having more merit than either domestic pot. Of course it's the poor relation of the European competitions but winning it gives access to the "middle tier" competition.

I never said I never wanted to win it,I just remarked the opposition up to the Quarter Finals were lower Championship at best.We have been favourites from Day One,so we have been expected to win it.It dosen't always happen that way,City have been the bookies Number One choice for the last 5 years to lift the Champions League,but they have yet to deliver(though I'd be very surprised if they fail this time round).Fair play to Moyes and the team for getting to the Final.Apart from the Sky 6,who were the last to pick up a proper trophy(b*llocks to that Inter City thing,where 3 teams can win one of them )
