As for the game, I was back in my old Twickenham manor to see it. Big heated tent outside the pub, really good.

At half time one bloke asked if they'd turn it over to Harlequins v Gloucester.

Nobody objected.

Sadly they didn't.

I've seen some wank England players in my time, but that cunt takes some beating.
Fucking dreadful, stick to adverts cunt.
You'll make Deccy jealous with accusations like that ;)
No wonder he wants Dec at Chelsea.
He needs him there doing his job.

Long way from being the worst game imo. If that young USA side stays together, improves as it gains experience, and if they can find a genuine striker, they could be a serious force on home soil in 2026.
Triple scoring Enner Valcencia could face England in the round of 16...he couldn't could he
Doubtful. He got carried off. Pity because Ecuador look a decent outfit, certainly better than the Dutch last night, but Valencia looks to be their only goal threat.

Very much a David Moyes type of performance by England.

Let's be fair, the USA did play well.If they could finish, they could be a very good team. They should have beat us and Wales.

Good win for the Socceroos.

There'll be a few koalas with sore arses tomorrow.

I don't recall Pickford making a save although Pulisic did hit the bar. It was just a fucking dreadful game.

McDullard would have had a lazy on throughout.

The thing with the USA team last night is it's been put together with a view for going to win their world cup in four years time. Anything this time round is a bonus.
Now I'm not saying they'll win it next time round obviously there's more to it than just youth etc. But the thing is the MLS is growing at a pace, it's no longer a league for over the hill has beens, there's players there from all over South America, playing in tandem with their own home grown talent. And they're learning, fast!
Last night showed us up for what we really are. An average side, with average players, with a box ticking average manager, backed to the hilt by a pathetic FA.
Last night was worse than watching West Ham and that takes some doing!!!!
