Yeh I heard that the other day from someone, thought he was joking.

First off: free accommodation,doesn't say Hotel (your own room)...so that might be shared dormitory style accommodation. Yuck

Our FA, the same as all the other FA's, had the opportunity to say "fuck this for a game of conkers", and withdfraw from the competition.

But they didn't. And had they done so I bet anyone a shedlaod of money there would have been people whining about why England werem't in the fucking thing. Nobody gives a shit about the Druids but if they did the same would be said about them.

If you remember the reason the tournament was switched from summer to winter was the threat of boycott - Germany were first to do so,swiftly followed by Iceland and Faroes...

The thing that pisses me off is that it's in the middle of the winter.World Cup for me is a Summer.All about sticking your shorts and shirt on,a few beers,BBQs with a bit of decent weather thrown in.
