Watching MBappe thump home three penalties with nonchalence, you wonder why Harry could not do that. And watching Dechamps change his teams dynamic using subs, you wonder why can't Gareth ever do that...

But the good news is, GS has decided to take the FA's £10M for the next two extra years...yippee - it was touch and go there and had me worried

Only entertaining from about the 80th minute
Was a one horse race until France scored their first, agreed. But I stand by my comment that there was more entertainment in that game, including the first 80 minutes, than our fucking lot have provided us with all season.

Of course that will all change from Boxing Day onwards.

After appraising the skill levels and general competency on show in the recent friendly's, I can see West Ham being involved in some high scoring games.

I watched one of the blogs a week or so ago and the guys were considering players who could be considered for player of the year. Benrahma was one of three. Which sums up our predicament rather neatly does it not ?

My biggest concern is that if the board do decide to swing the axe on the manager that they will probably miss the target. It would somehow be fitting if they sacked the tea lady or canteen manager instead.

Interestingly as an aside I read a comment about the referee being intimidated by the numbers of Argentinian fans and favouring them. Wouldn't be the first time an official has been influenced by the crowd into favouring the home side in a World Cup final would it ? 1966 anyone.

And how long will Brighton be able to hang onto that McAllister bloke now he's announced himself on the world stage.?
