On the West Ham watch: Scamacca has made some nice link up touches and looked competent. One daft long range shot

Declan Rice has played well, very assured and competent in all his contributions. Nicely done

For England Dyer and Foden have both had good halfs and Nick Pope looks safe as houses. Sterling tightly marked and Sako anonymous little boy lost

Italy have edged it possession wise and Roberto Mancini has out suited Gareth Southgate
Good link up touches enquire someone to link up with. Which is probably why the poor bastard hasn’t made too many in our colours.
Gareth Southgate would not play him either, just like DM - two peas in a pod in fact

Although DM has only been relegated once. GS has been relegated with all his clubs - Middlesborough being the first

'This England team will get better, although I might not be around to witness it...'

Cut from the same boring, uninspiring, bland, cloth.
No idea whatsoever.
Love a cup of Rosey I do.

Rice is a very good player. The problem for us is that after this he will come back even more disillusioned . I just hope that the good people around him will gee him up 🙏

I think he knows he was one of the better performers on the pitch and is thought of in high regard.

It was on in the pub I was in last night. The sound was down. I didn't watch it, and I didn't see many others watching it either.

If Southgate and Moyes swapped jobs would we notice the difference?
Just like my dreams they fade and die.
But on the positive side..............

As I said earlier both have Nevin at their side
Looks the part with his earpiece and pad but seems to know the square root of fuck all
Apparently a box ticking exercise by the FA to get more BAME into the England set up got him the gig

Southgate and Moyes are relics in the modern game.
