Fair Dinkum Predictions for the Upcoming Season

Post by OZHAMMER »

No 'off the wall' stuff here - these are genuine predictions.

The Irons will finish sixth (or better).
The Irons will only be knocked out of the two domestic cups by one of the big five clubs. If we avoid them, we take home the trophy.
The Irons will have four players score double figures; Bowen, Fornals, Soucek, RIce.
The Irons will have a positive goal difference of double figures.
Ogbonna and Zouma will be the most featured centre pairing.
Top four will consist of City, Bindippers, Chelsea, Arsenal.
Two clubs starting with 'B' and one club starting with 'L' will be relegated.
Haaland won't be live up to the hype.
Lingard will miss most of Forest's season with a suspect 'injury'.
The Irons will win the Europa Conference League.

Blimey you are optimistic, Rice and Soucek both scoring 10 plus goals, don't think Rice has scored that many in all the the time he's been playing for us, and the positional change will eat into Souceks chances. The only one I give a chance to is Bowen.

A common complaint from all of my ex-girlfriends... "Oz, you are just too glass half full..."

I put mine from the off the wall here, cause they aren't, well at least I don't think they are.

City to win league
Forest to just stay up
West Ham to finish outside the top 7
West Ham have a poor conference cup.
Lingard gets booed when he visits
England get knocked out in the round before the quater finals
Manure finish 3rd.
Bowen will be our top scorer.
Scamacca scores on his league debut.
Haaland will be the seasons top scorer

Dear Oz.

You've obviously reached a stage where the fence restorer isn't working (we've all been there).
One minute you're sat there watching old re-runs of neighbours and the next you're sat in a supermarket car park stark bollock naked, foaming at the mouth, playing a xylophone to waltzing Matilda.
I suggest going back to basics ease yourself in, 4 bottles of vodka mixed with a dash of antifreeze a day moving on to turpentine and cranberry juice within a couple of months. Before you know it, you'll be dressed as Bugs Bunny wandering around playing the flute in a state of high delerium with not a care in the world.

As for predictions

West ham to finish 15th
Knocked out in Europe by any team who can play attacking football.
Brazil to win the world cup
And Vladimir Putin to appear as one of the 7 dwarves in a pantomime at Christmas in Bognor Regis.
Love a cup of Rosey I do.

Harry Redknapp will be named caretaker manager for the season after Moyes is killed by a shot from the Romford Book Depository.

Amazingly, Qatar win the world cup on the same date that FIFA buy Bermuda.

Declan Rice leaves West Ham to become player manager of Billericay Town.

Ebola hits the country in january killing 75% of the population but the PL continues as normal to raise morale.

And Ferry across the Mersey is re-released for the 12th time for charity as VAR rules out an injury time equaliser for the dippers at the Etihad.
