What Mark Noble has done for us is amazing and clearly the best defensive midfielder and captain over the years and keeping our club in good shape as he always looked after players, helped them and I am so proud to have him in last 18 years.

I hope he will stay and whatever role he will do, to keep us in good shape.

Well Done Nobes for giving us 110% every season through thick and thin.

Never moved because no one semi decent wanted him.
Very nearly joined Crystal Palace.
Assaulted a West Ham fan and sided with the board.
Done soooo much of the boards dirty work regarding stadium move.
Played through many relegations and never won a trophy.

Good career for an average player who showed loyalty because he had no choice.
Oh look, numbnuts is now slagging off a legend
Has he slagged off Bobby Moore, Bonds or Trevor Brooking yet? I wonder!. 🤔

He hasn't got round to them yet as it so long ago maybe he's still looking for fault. Don't know why he doesn't make it up like all the other crap he writes.

If you were in a pub quiz and the question was, who did Mark Noble come on for in his PL debut as sub, I wonder if many would know the answer.

Hayden Mullins.

He's been around that long. And his career sort of mirrors my own change of circumstances. That game, against Blackburn, the first since we got back in the top flight was on the car radio as I drove from West Sussex to Scotland for a possible move up there under a lot of family pressure, accompanied by my two young kids. It wasn't long after my wife had passed away. Her Mum and sister lived in Dumfries and Galloway and there was a concerted effort being put on me to join them.

I remember us going a goal down, without googling it I couldn't tell you who equalised. I think Reo-Choker scored at some point. And with fucking awful connection due to the Lake District mountains I pulled into Killington Lake services on the M6 to hear the arse end of the game, with us being helped by Paul Dickhead getting red carded for the pigeon molesters and us winning 3-1. We were clearly going to win the league.

I eventually made the right choice and chose Somerset instead. I've been 'cancelled' by most of my wife's family, but fuck 'em. Just as the Who sang, the kids are alright. My daughter's a midwife and getting married next year and my son's off to uni in Pompey this September.

So Nobes has been with me, spiritually, all the way. And he made the right choice too.

I've slagged him off at times for being too slow but never for his commitment or loyalty. And even then it's because of the frustration being a Hammer often entails.

'Legend' is a word used too often. But he deserves the accolade alongside Sir Bob, Sir Trev and Bonzo.

Thanks Mark.

Guardiola recognises what he has done for the club and football in general. I know who's judgement I would listen to.
Pep is a class act and I hope they don't fuck it up next week 🙏

Long may he be remembered , still think he should have got a full international call up .
Though I still think he was used and abused longer then he should have been by the club , this season should have come two seasons back .

So name all those dirty things he's done for the board, I can name Two I disliked but putting them in perspective he was doing what he thought best for the team and not what was best for the board. Staying silent was an option of course but it served both himself and the team better to speak, what his true feelings were Is open to debate, but it served no one to tell the boss to fuck off when asked, or to accept and proceed to voice negative views. You should know that, but still you proceed.

A great player he wasn't, but neither was he a bad one. Good spells he had and some poor ones, But I reckon to date he has gained us a few extra points, not only for how he played, but for who he is. He didn't get picked for nothing.
