Big Sam was right
And exactly what influence will that £105 million have on tomorrows starting 11 and probably for the next few games as well

I'm not up on my Burnley stats, but a claret mate if mine, and numerous Burnley fans online have said it's a shame he was so injury prone 🤷
If Aguerd wasn't injured and Cornet and the Italian were ready to go tomorrow, maybe,we'd feel a bit different..It just feels crap has only maybe Cornet may be on the bench.
Agree with all that Tel, except I don’t believe corny will be on the bench due to lack of match fitness and was he even registered in time anyway? Not that the latter matters

It might see Antonio emerge onto the pitch with fire in his boots and ice cold blood in his veins, as he sets his laser guided sights for the top corner...

I know it seems like I have a personal witch hunt against Cresswell.
I realise most other clubs new signings are not “up to speed” yet either so I understand Moyes being cautious with ours …

But if there was ever one new signing that was SO badly required that it had to be made almost immediately the window opened in order for that player to be actually “up to speed”…then it’s a new left back .
A young(ish) fit left back, with a bit of pace , that can actually defend .

I bear no Ill will towards any of our players . Indeed I will always support them every time they pull the shirt on but I fear it will take a really serious injury to Cresswell or young Johnson before we see so much as a stop gap full back signed.
I can’t emphasise how strongly I feel about this .
We get targeted week after week in that position and it effectively makes us a 9 man team as whoever is employed on the left spends more time babysitting Cresswell .

And they don’t even do that well at it either.
Bring back Jonathon !

I’ve never felt you’ve got an.agenda against Cresswell. Well at least no more than your agendas against Moyes, Diop and several others. :(

None probably, and that's fine. Don't rush to bring them in when they're not ready, which would plain stupid
