I didn't actually criticise the squad or their attitude in my response to Garnett's post , didn't even say they were shit , if you read my post prior to the match actually in response to another of Garnett's posts - ( Still think we have the players to cause them problems on our day , especially if Moyes can get the selection right ( can't deny we are lacking in a couple of areas but we have fighters in the squad who can do themselves and us proud today ) , lets just hope Chelsea are below par ) .
If people don't like Moyes, fair enough, that's their choice, but Garnett's post about us being dogshit and lucky is beyond a joke. Yes Chelsea made mistakes, and so did we and Moyes, but we got it right second half and Chelsea couldn't live with Antonio, Bowen and Soucek.
I actually thought Rice had a quiet game by his standards. He did what he had to do, stand in front of the back four.
We will have dips, we have in the last couple of games, so will every team.
We will probably struggle against the Cloggers next week, especially with injuries, but if we can't be happy with our current situation, then when can we.
Some are just not happy unless we've got the minutest things to moan about.
We've just played the top 3 teams, 6 points, and a loss to the team currently at the top.
Agree

If only we could go back and show the games against Wigan and Hull when BFS was in charge or games against Oxford and Wimbledon under Pellegrini to remember where we have come from and to remind people what dogshit really is.

Let's get real here. The Top 3 in the PL are in the Top 5 of the very best in Europe and in world Football.

We ain't exactly got the best owners, have we,but our manager, his coaching staff and players have produced a:bloody miracle in the last 18 months. We are up with them 3 teams for consistency, where in reality,we should be nowhere near them.
This season in all competition,we have beaten ALL of the Top 3 and the next 4 or 5 teams that follow .

Honestly you couldn't make it up,with the criticism on here and other social media outlets .

I like to think I'm quite level and try and make fair comment on our team.I try not to go over the top when we win or be too disappointed when we get a negative result, though I am passionate. Please just enjoy what we have been doing?Of course I don't think the team should escape criticism and we are all entitled to our opinions, but bloody hell, how can anybody knock us beating the European Champions?
I know I'm enjoying life has a West Ham fan and have nothing but praise for this team, the best in the last 35 years.
Although calling me a prick a while back on here though obviously not face to face
I agree with your sentiments team wise although I have stated a similar post regarding our progress
I know your posts have been very positive Dwayne.

Tbh,I cannot remember that, but I must have been really pissed off in what you said...I know 989899746 has peed me off a few times,I apologise and probably did at the time.If I didn't,I will now.I personally don't like falling out with people, especially on here tbh.

👍. Though I would agree with Garnett to an extent - 1st half was difficult to watch at times , hated the formation to start with and Antonio will continue playing until he gets injured .
So will they all.

Totally agree in some respects we were horrible to watch ( apart from Bowen/Rice ) , but we did take advantage first half of their dodgy keeping ( what else could we do , call it luck what ever a fluke) to equalise . But things did change second half with the forced substitutions and change of formation we did perform better with Fornals calling the shots in his best position , and Lanzini in behind .
    Nothing to do with Chelsea being the best team in the country at the time then
Nothing to do with the way we were set up , and the selection ? . I think we are capable of beating any team with the right selection/tactics , just because Chelsea were top of the heap doesn't mean they are the best ( just the more consistent , or maybe have been able to take better advantage of their chances . So what happened second half ? we lost two of our best defenders , .

Any team is capable of beating any other team on any given day aren't they ? Are Crystal Palace a better team than Manchester City ? Is Patrick Vieira a better coach than Guardiola ? Tactics are an important part of the game of course but so is the quality of the players at the coach's disposal. But I'm sure you'll agree more often than not the teams with the best players do tend to float to the top of the pile. There's a reason for that, isn't there.? ;)

Just as we are able to change tactics to win games so are the opposition, its normally a combination of both. They were the best team I have seen this season. Not as elegant as city but created far more danger in the box. Yes, they are not so clinical but the way they play more direct than City and the Scouse tests the back 4 a lot which seemed to pass the test in the main

The best teams do tend to be at the top of the table.

But you are right of course, it was horrible to watch and very depressing. I noted everyone walking out of the stadium with their heads down bemoaning how we were lucky to win, it was all about Chelsea's mistakes and we may be in for a relegation scrap. it was like a morgue mate......

Having said that, all the injuries we are picking up at the back are a real concern with the Xmas schedule looming on the horizon. Fingers crossed for some good news soon.

Great win today and I am still buzzing.

Credit to Tuchel for taking it on the chin. Proof that not all Germans are whinging fuckers looking for excuses.
This. goodpost:)

Yeah that must be why no one was celebrating and it was so quiet, everyone looked totally depressed. I expect half the ground empty next match and a call for BFS back because of the horrible football we are playing.
