I also got on very well with him.We did agree on a lot of things too,whether it was good or bad with our club(mainly bad ).
He was never nasty either,but did speak his mind.
Numbers can make some very good points(normally negative) and be quite entertaining too,but can be very disrespectful to other posters and their families..There is also his constant put down of anything West Ham..He rarely has anything positive to say.That's why his disliked so much on here.
Add to that, Ashes posts were rarely repeatative to the point of being boring.

Now someones mentioned him wouldnt shock me if numbers is the same as ashkodi. Remember him from years ago he was a big fan of Grant before we brought him in and he thought the french bloke that come from pompey,Pickaron or something like that was the dogs bollocks. Looking at it now seems like he migh just of been posting bollocks to start a row like numbers does now.

I think its is more likely to be Gonzo than Ash, Taansend, Eggerts Ears or any of those old posters.
