Not sure about the "Kretin" part of his surname tbh.

Sounds promising, hopefully he won't look at this as purely a business deal and an investment.

I think it's a fair bet that he will mate. Billionaires don't become billionaires by throwing their cash away on vanity projects.

But a consistently successful football club would generate better returns than a basket case one. So investment in the right areas of the club could possibly be expected.

So what happens if they only sell a percentage of the club?

Realistically the club has a new owner, even if it only 27% of the club.

A part of the club has been sold.

Technically the club does not have a new owner. Only when he has a majority shareholding would that be the case
