You have to say that these stats show we dominated the game as has been mentioned

Yes, you are right he played much better.

The only disappointment for me was that our superiority all over the park wasn't translated into goals. On another day Cresswell's moment of carelessness could have cost us at the death had Zouma not put in that goal saving block. That game should have been done and dusted by half time imo.

I'm probably in the minority but I'd like to see us target a quality striker to replace Antonio as our main goal threat. Antonio has been something of a revelation in some games but, imo, lacks the consistency to be a genuine number one striker. And his decision making and his touch sometimes lets him down at key moments.

But imagine the impact Antonio could have coming from the bench for the final 30 or 40 minutes against a tiring defence.

Moyes don’t like subs. Antonio would be lucky to get 5 minutes as an impact sub, let alone 30 minutes

Well if he wasn’t needed to make an impact it would probably mean we were winning . Which would also mean his dodgy hamstrings were’t being over taxed.

Having watched the game again I’m convinced that the apparent switching back of the Rice/Soucek roles was responsible for our overall superiority and thought both put on special performances.

Bad decision making up top definitely made it appear closer than it actually was.
Bring back Jonathon !
