I had a spare 10 hours so I watched the offering about Zoomer against Wolves. And I agree.

He was in the wrong position and it has to change. The 3-5-1-1 formation has to be introduced. I don't know of any left-footed CB's that would improve the squad in January and I imagine they'd be hard to find but we'll need to address it because Oggy is out for the season and I hope I'm wrong but at his age it could be the last we'll see of him in a West Ham shirt.

I agree about Oggy. Pretty sure we won't see him again. If we do, I doubt we'll see him at his 'pre-injury form' anyway.

And I'm not convinced we'll get another leftie of his calibre.

Just like no one has he was any good at Chelsea.
West Ham fans would have said he was poor.
Now he signs for West Ham and fans on forums are saying he's great.

Brainless footballer. Wrong position all the time. Does not see danger. Diop II.

Moyes has wasted money on him and Vlasic.
I hate to say it but Zouma is diabolical.
He will be Diop MKII. Mark my words.
Positionally poor and on the ball, good God, he looks like a puppet on a string kicking a football, every body part going in a different direction.
Moyes transfers- Soucek, coufal, vlasic, Zouma- have been atrocious. Dinosaur manager.

He is a scuffer. Never makes a clean connection, foot with ball. Because he doesn't address the ball in the right way, he over compensates and tends to apply too mjuch force. That's why a proportion of his passes look over hit. And the reason they look it is because they are.

He is strong in the air and uses his muscularity to win a share of tussels. Good positional awareness and I bet that was the main attribute that DM admired. He is a reasonable squad player but not my idea of first XI material.

Was it a huge waste of money ? Considering what the team actually needs - yes.

Disagree about positional sense. Think it's poor.
He was signed because he's 6'4" with a great leap, solely for aerial ability. The same reason Soucek plays week in week out.
The MO of a manager who's first signing for Man Utd was Fellani

Zouma was clearly man of the match and kept us in the game.

What a fantastic player and hope to keep it going.
