Not Micky’s greatest game but he was up against VVD and made him work, it was good to see how unhappy VVD was at times as our breaks, Micky gave him a hard time.
Love Micky’s post match interviews, articulate, thoughtful, honest and fun. He’ll make a top pundit one day. But long may his playing career continue, he has few good seasons left for sure.
We can’t rely on him alone though, he’s going to miss a game here or there through injury. Bowen is excellent and fills in well as front man when he has to, but a back-up striker is the main position we need to fill in January, I’m quite happy with the quality and depth of the rest of the squad.

It's his get out clause, I think every season for the past 3 have been a non season. But working on that theory still makes him wrong as he's claimed them a non season so are null and void. So we await a real season to once again see if Allardyce will reappear to play Reid as a Left Back.

A trick was missed here - if somebody wanted to make a snarky observation and attempt some provocation, then they could have suggested "wouldn't score more than five important goals in a season..."
then the chums could have debated the meaning and classification of important for 15 pages...it's high-value discussions of this calibre that
