I liked this. Sums up how two-faced the Premier League is.
I may be wrong but wasn't the fine we had to pay determined by an octogenarian high court judge. I don't think tghe PL had anything to do with it at all.
But as said, I could well be wrong, it was a long time ago.
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?

Think the PLs fine was 5/6 Million...the rest was compensation to the whippet lot...20 mill or so ...
Baring in mind as well it was 13 years ago.....so maybe 8/9 mill and 25 Mill or so todays value..not exact, guesswork.
Blackmailed anyway...pay the fine with no appeal and we Won't dock points, leading to a relegation.crafty fucks, nice
little earners for them and whippet boys.
The sad truth is the PL need these sordid fuckers and don't want to upset them. A pound to a piece of shit that lengthy discussions took place along the lines of 'we have to be seen to be punishing you. Let's haggle and find a price you're willing to pay so we can save face'.
