Imo Tarkowski is one of those players whose price is only as high as it is because of his nationality. Last year figures of £30 k were being thrown around. Utterly absurd valuation. I'd put him in the Dawson price bracket, maybe atwo or three grand higher because he is a bit younger. But not good enough to justify more than £6k tops imo.

As you say mate. A "decent" centre half. Just like Dawson and countless others. The bloke on loan at Fulham last season, Andersen, is just one who would be a better, and probably significantly cheaper, option.
And your Strodder analogy is a good one. They are similar in that both their names contain 12 letters.

Totally agree BB , and Moyes doesn't need decent , he wants young with potential , players who have above average ability .

For far too long we've taken journeymen over the hill tosspots looking for a last payday. I hope ( but won't hold my breath) we get some decent young signings in that can push us forward.
