‘There are offers’ – Club handling proposals from West Ham and Southampton, player ‘waiting’ to sort future

Last weekend, Mundo Deportivo reported that West Ham United and Southampton are ‘willing to pay’ for Barcelona’s Junior Firpo.
AC Milan are also credited with an interest in the left-back, who has struggled for regular time under Ronald Koeman.
Reports in Italy stated Milan want the La Liga side to sanction the 24-year-old’s loan transfer with a non-mandatory purchase option.
This, however, isn’t well received in the offices of the Camp Nou, according to Thursday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo. The Catalan club’s position ‘does not seem to convince’ the Serie A side.
Junior, for his part, is ‘still waiting’ to find out what will happen with his future.
The former Real Betis star’s ‘priority’ is to join Stefano Pioli’s side, but he understands Barca ‘want to do some kind of business with him’.
Mundo explain ‘there are offers’ that Barca like, which have come from the Premier League, ‘especially from West Ham and Southampton’. Details of the ‘offers’ made by the Hammers and Saints isn’t covered in the report.
