Loved the character of the old grounds.

It brings the nostalgia back too of real atmospheres.

really could not agree more sadly i can not go football any more but i was blessed as i managed to go when it was proper gvrounds with real character with proper floodlights i was blessed mate

Away days were great.
Nothing like the buzz of the train pulling in to a station and seeing the floodlights off in the distance. Being frog marched by the local constabulary from the station wasn't all that clever but there you go

Nostalgia doesn't really work when comparing old to new. It always comes off second best.
