Loved the character of the old grounds.

It brings the nostalgia back too of real atmospheres.

really could not agree more sadly i can not go football any more but i was blessed as i managed to go when it was proper gvrounds with real character with proper floodlights i was blessed mate

Away days were great.
Nothing like the buzz of the train pulling in to a station and seeing the floodlights off in the distance. Being frog marched by the local constabulary from the station wasn't all that clever but there you go 😁

Nostalgia doesn't really work when comparing old to new. It always comes off second best.
