The cameras made a point of panning away from all the turned backs...

If the dimwitted players can show subservience by kneeling then why cant the crowds boo ?..how long before they try and make it an offence and start banning fans for having an opinion ?
I’ve always thought booing sounds very gay. And as such I think anybody doing it deserves to be publicly castrated. ;)
If only Tom Robinson had titled his biggest hit "Boo if you glad to be Gay,boo if your happy this way"

Now that would have been something. And I always think booing should be accompanied by the waving of pink hankies so perhaps TR could have worked that into his act.

Are you saying,we should all except the knee, end of?

If not,what should they do?

Are the British teams the only one's doing it at the Championships?

No. I'm saying that anyone who makes that silly noise should be publicly castrated. And if they simultaneously wave a pink hanky it should be done sans anaesthetic.

Couldn't really give a monkeys. Perhaps write a letter to The Times. If they're capable of writing a letter of course.

Booing will just make them more determined to keep taking a knee.
Ignore it, turn your back, close your eyes.
It a peaceful message that will stop, booing just gives it more attention.

That paragraph is no longer in the article. I wonder if cunt Khan has upset enough people to back down ?
He is indeed a cunt. But there are also many cunts the other end of the political spectrum who , shall we say don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story. Was it ever true. ?
They changed the reason because of an outcry but it is still there.

Well I suppose we have to maintain the charade of social distancing. Typical of Khan's PR team, if it is they who have amended it, to pick a politically correct issue as a reason.

And presumably the wearing of face masks is mandatory in case somebody sneezes in Hounslow or Blackburn.

Presumably the good Professor Whitty will soon be on the air demonstrating yet another "scientific model".

Originally they were selling it as a multi-cultural event.
