The beginnings of football in Siverić go back to 1925. From that year until 1932, football was played on makeshift grounds. In 1932, the first football club in Siverić was registered. The first official match was played with the football club DOŠK from Drnis . The club performed under this name for a short time because it was forbidden to operate the same year. The following year, in 1934, the club was re-registered under the name Briquette. The club soon became out of favor with the regime at the time, so it was banned from working. In 1938, a club called Rudar was founded. He has kept that name to this day. During World War II it did not work. At the end of the war, from 1947 to 1950, a playground and club rooms were built in the center of Siverić. Until 1953, the club competed in the Split Football Association, and since that year in the unique Dalmatian league. Rudar Football Club was then among the top five clubs in Dalmatia . Since 1965, Rudar has competed in the Sibenik Football Association. He won first place in that alliance six times in a row. From 1981 until the start of the Homeland War (1991), the club competed in the Dalmatian league North, Zadar - Sibenik .
In the season 1990/91. in which 16 clubs competed, Miner finished fourth. The Rudar football club has twice played abroad. At the invitation of the Croats Club from Gaggenau ( Germany ), which played Croatian part-time workers in Germany, Rudar participated in a football tournament in that city in 1981 and 1983.
In 1984, a small sports field was built and a large football field was renovated. From 1987 to 1989, the administrative space and dressing room were expanded, and in 1990 an internal restaurant was opened.
During the [[Homeland War <Homeland War]] the club did not operate because almost all Siverić residents were in exile. After the liberation in 1995, the club premises were renovated and organizational conditions were created for the regular operation of the club.
He is currently competing in the 1st ŽNL Šibensko-kninska.
