Ogbonna would be my choice. But under the present manager if Rice left the club tomorrow somehow you just know it would be Cresswell.

I make you right on both counts. Ogbonna never occurred to me. As you also say the chances of it being Cresswell are high. He is now the vice. What we really need though is someone you can see as long term, zilch.

Too right. He has clearly lost all respect for Moyes and Sullivan, but I hope that for the remainder of the season he will make a massive commitment to the fans as captain to secure our Premier League survival. He should never forget that after Chelsea rejected him as a bed wetting academy failure, we gave him the chance to realise his potential.
