I remember we tried Jenkinson on the left with Tomkins on the right (can't remember what game). We were a mess. Bilic switched them at half time and it was much much better. So yes, some defenders can cover all positions and should be able to.....but unfortunately some can't quite cut it.

I'm actually embarrassed to call myself a West Ham fan at the moment with this treatment of Tony Carr. I would happily boycott the Next game to show my support for him if there was a big plan by others to do so. Seems clubs react to empty seats.
