….is Black History Month.
Just thought you’d be interested.
Indeed I am, and have started reading a few classics. I've finished 'The Merry Adventures of Robin's Hood' not very taxing, and am halfway through 'The French Lieutenant's Bitch'.
I hope to read Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Mugging' after that.

I'm on to Macbredren, The lord of me ring tings and broadwater farm.

And let's not forget the silver screen my learned friend. I'm watching 'Drive-by'ing Miss Daisy' and 'The Madness of King George Floyd' today instead of the Manc derby. And will tomorrow start binge watching the period classic 'Poldarkie'. While taking the knee of course.
Must go. A knock at the door. I think it's Amazon delivering my latest book 'Delbert Copperfield'.

Black "history" summarised in one sentence.... 200ish million years of tribal conflict with their most advanced invention, the spear, during which time, Europeans and their descendants had civilised and explored most of the rest of the world including the USA, built thousands of great cities, innovated and discovered great things and landed men on the moon multiple times..
