He did mate, he played like he does for West Ham.

Southgate released the shackles, playing 7 defensive minded players allowed for it I guess.

Considering he picked up a yellow early on, he showed great awareness not to do anything else too rushed. Played a good game and I was surprised Southgate didn't replace him. That shows the trust on both sides.
