Where are you getting your data from MK? The data from the ONS shows that in 2019 in England and wales there were a total number of 530,841 deaths

For 2020 at week 46 (13th November 2020) there were 529,928 registered deaths in England and Wales, are you saying that from the 13th November to the end of December there were 80,000 extra deaths?

Where on earth are you getting 2/3% deaths per year from covid? I would say that is scaremongering.

If the vaccine does what is supposed to and it protects those who are at risk, why are we all being coerced into taking it?

"When everyone is vaccinated, we can return to normal"

In the last year I have lost one friend to heart disease, 1 to cancer and 1 to MND. Covid isn't the only thing that can kill you.

There's pages and pages of stats I can put up on excess deaths...and the reasons..
I'll do a Newspaper one...have a look round they all say the same....2020 had an increase of approx 12% extra deaths than
the previous 10 years ..and I'm being conservative, read the articles not just this one...
https://www.theguardian.com/society/202 ... rst%20wave.

As of this moment in time there has been...113,000,000 Cases ,,,registered cases mind you of Covid 19...
2,500,000 Deaths..
91,300,000 of these cases are closed...had a result....89,000,000 have recovered...97%....3% died....
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

We have a population of 65,000,000....3% of that is...I know,I'll let you work it out...

This is the potential of this thing...those death rates..every year if we dont get it under and controlled and understood.

Again I do not scare monger these are the facts that are out there for everyone to see...

I'm sorry for your loses mate, truly ...but us fuckin about trying to get rid of the potential of this thing is leading to
other deaths that aren't Covid related...people are not getting the same levels of treatment...thats why we have to
fuck it off as soon as we can...and not just.................Live with it...........
Live with it maybe, but on our terms, under our control...much the same as Flu...
Uk population 67.6M - Every little helps

3% of the recorded cases, not 3% of the worlds population then

Interesting that data has been made available to the press that is not available to the public. Why is it not possible for me to see the total death figures for last year? I'm left having to believe the press, not something I tend to do.

I should be able to see what the official figures are on the ONS site, can't find a thing other than a figure in November.

Denying crucial treatment for other illnesses was completely avoidable, it was a choice to throw those people under a bus, all under the BS premise that the NHS was going to collapse, if that was the case the nightingale facilities would of actually had some patients and wouldn't have been closed months ago.

Of course what they could have done is declare Covid as a stay in bed illness and deterred hospital walkins. The very very serious would still have
needed hospitalisation but admissions would have probably been far less.

Who phones for an ambulance when you have been told to recover in bed. Without the massive influx into hospitals then the pressure to introduce lockdowns would have been greatly reduced.

You would still have had a high mortality rate but the impact on others - Hospitals - would have reduced burdens. And all the other normal day to day patient requirements would not have been frozen. Or not as much.

Now whether that policy would have reduced eventual Hospitalisations by 30%,50% or 70% we won't know, because they didn't go that route.

However it would be good to know they did contemplate the idea. And if they did, what was the deciding factor that made them decline.

Yeah worst case scenario 3% of people that get it die...we don't contain it,the more get it the more die,I'll be honest,
they are world wide stats...ours are lower cos we have treatments and a brilliant NHS to keep our figures lower.
Ours is running about 1.5%....means if everyone contacted it in the UK about a Million deaths....and there's people that say we
should let it run it's course...and not take precautions with Lockdowns and Masks Jabs etc....

Tried to find out about Nightingales seemed logical to me to use them...keep Covid cases together ,try and keep
hospitals running as near to poss normally....but meant diverting staff and equipment, still thought it was doable
logistically, use the Forces Personnel, but evidently not...they were for worst case scenarios which never came.

I've said all along the extra deaths we've seen this year...70,000 to 100,000 is being quoted is not just covid....
we're both saying it...other treatments and ops etc have suffered, because of it,it rightly became a priority...

Anyway mate whatever our opinions on it...where seeing the back of it...there'll be more probs along the way no doubt,
but we're beating it..

So many experts on this thread, you’d have thought they would have a cure by now!

Aah, the BFS out thread. A lot of frothing at the mouth on that one - particularly after the Hull game.
