Poor selection from Moyes , and once again poor selection off the bench and their timings , out Moyes .
Bring on Doncaster ! .

I thought he was one of our better players tbh. Also thought Noble did ok.

Yarmo, Lanzini and Antonio were shyte.

If that's the case we also need a intelligent midfielder and a intelligent wide man on the right , to fix our attack .

Very difficult to judge any players performance given the conditions, but we ground out the result against a very determined Stockport who deserve a lot of credit for keeping their defensive shape for most of the game.

Its a game we'd have lost in the past.

Doncaster at home will be a different game entirely

Well so much for the beautiful game. We can say Stockport were willing-shillings and one good cross and decisive header was the only thing that happened.
One moment of creativity lasting 3 seconds out of 92 minutes of utter dross. I wasn't expecting 5 stars but I wasn't prepared for that...

David Moyes had the look of a man who had just experienced an unwise fart

The one good thing about that game is that Antonio got 90 minutes to build up his fitness.

What utter cack. Conditions didn’t help but the lack of creativity and intelligent off ball movement were noticeably missing.

Once again the defence and Rice were the only ones who played to a decent standard.

Three efforts on target the entire game says it all.

Since the PL arrived the standard of pitches in the top division has been so better that surfaces like that are such a leveller.

Man City have a pitch on the Etihad complex that they can replicate to the conditions of their next away fixture but even they'd have been struggling unless they moved it into the Manchester Ship Canal.

Credit to Stockport though. Never resorted to kicking us like Wimbledon did when they beat us.
