The photos could be misleading but it looks as if most of the people there, apart from the ones at Wembley, are from my generation----in other words old. Are younger fans, who, let's face it, are the future, not just for West Ham but all clubs, still being attracted in sufficient numbers ?
I stopped going shortly after the arrival of the dwarf and dribbly but I'd noticed even back then (still at UP) there seemed to be far fewer kids in attendance than used to be the case. Which doesn't bode well for the future. If clubs can't attract people when they're young it's going to be much more difficult, if not impossible, to get them through the doors when they're older.
