I think the £15 price is a tempter - see if they can get away with it. The EFL Cup is priced at £10 and I thought that was cheekiness personified.Whiskyman wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 8:50 amthough I know a few will be happy payingterrya1965 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 8:44 pm https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54481945
Thoughts please.
Personally,I think it`s disgusting, especially in the times we are in right now.A kick in the teeth.for many, though I know a few will be happy paying £15,but I don`t think it`s right.
Sullivan will be singing in the bath tonight.
You've hit the nail on the head Terry. Some will, some won't. All about choice. If there's a massive take up of the £15 prices will go up, no one buys it they'll come down. It's that simple.
But what I think is dumb is charging the same for every game. I wouldm't watch Burnley v Palace for example if someone paid me £15 tbh.
This is a decent article on the subject.

Of course it does Tone. But there are millions of suckers out there who do pay out for overpriced crap simply because it has a particular club crest on it. And while those people are so easily parted from their hard earned there will be a queue of people waiting to relieve them of it.
Match by match payments are fine by me but at that price and with football in its current incarnation it seems they’re almost daring us NOT to pay.Whiskyman wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 9:49 amOf course it does Tone. Tbh I think it's only a matter of time before the subscription thing changes and it will pretty much be done on a match by match or club viewing season ticket system. Time will tell.
One important aspect for PPV - for me - is will the broadcast contain adverts. I can't abide that type of thing. It's annoying, because I wanted to watch theToneLoc wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 10:42 amMatch by match payments are fine by me but at that price and with football in its current incarnation it seems they’re almost daring us NOT to pay.Whiskyman wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 9:49 am

I’m more than happy to play that game of course
It's nothing to do with the TV companies. Apparently ALL the additional revenue raise will go to the clubs, not Sky/BT. And of course the idea was put fprward by the clubs themselves. 19 clubs voted for the proposal and only one, Leicester, voted against it.mkhammer wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 10:25 am This Pandemic is a dream come true for the TV Companies, must be wanking themselves silly....
Every game with a different Kick off Time and can now charge for every single match.....Happy Days....
But they're only doing it so the fans can watch their team...bless em..................................Not about the money then.
Cut the Crap..FFS ....just say what yer doin and shut the fuck up.
£15 when lots of us are struggling..Wankers....
