So when I was 13, my Brother brought one of those Nokia phones, you know the ones that were indestructable. 3310's they were, he used to bounce it off the solid concrete playground and it worked totally fine, we'd play snake on it, when we died, he'd throw it on the wall and totally fine, no problem. Unsurprisingly though, a man like my Brother who was a little shall we say, carefree with his property broke something that did belong to the phone, it was his phone charger. He replaced it with a cheap one brought by my Mum at a shopping centre, from a guy who was probably a gypo selling knockoff gear. Anyhow he plugged it in, first time and after 10 minutes, I noticed it was hot, I said "Wow, you wanna unplug that or it will catch fire!". But my brother was like "nah don't be daft, this is safe".

Sure enough damn thing started smoking 20 minutes later, only then did my Brother take it out before it blew up and caused a fire. His phone was fucked, it actually finally broke, funny enough.

"I was correct wasn't I?" I told him.

Till this day, he never admitted it. Hard life being right all the time isn't it?
