"Academy midfielder Jake Giddings put pen to paper on a two-year scholarship deal in May 2018 but has been released it was announced today. Giddings had impressed at the Academy of Football throughout his teenage years, even receiving a masterclass from Club captain Mark Noble in 2015".

I wish him well but that hardly helped him :)

Morning,

Happens every year every age group, getting as far as they have has put them on other clubs radar, especially the lower leagues, it`s a hard industry, if you don't make the expected grade you`re gone.

Should be careful who we unload....we drop....a few will be off (first teamers).....no real proven quality players would wanna come
to the Iconic to replace......be handy having some decent back up from the kids....

We need some people in charge that know how to run a Footie Club...

The Ngakia saga is disturbing, have no fears that our Academics are talking about it and the state of the club in general, they aren`t stupid and the vast majority does NOT have supporter allegiance like it did in the past.

Isn't there a rumour that Ngakia is off to Schalke ? Already a done deal perhaps ?

To add to this, I know of one parent of a current youngster at West Ham who is very angry at the way his sons contract was dealt with, he signed it in the end but was shocked at how things were handled.
