I'm quite surprised by this.

There had been negotiations for the names of the 180 NHS workers who'd dies on the front line to be honoured on the shirts.

As sad as the fella being murdered by the US police is there have been 60,000 additional deaths in the UK during the past 3 months. The whole reason for football stopping has been the killer virus and trying to stop the spread.

Personally I'd rather the the virus & BLM were not even mentioned in the football but surely if there is a narrative it has to be thousands who've died recently in this country.

It really should be a period of reflective mourning if anything. I'm really surprised to see the protests dominating and superseding the recent loss of life.

Football has had three months to get this right and what do they do...

The broadcast companies must be bloody fuming. Having to get round, the no crowd elephant in the room, they now face the prospect
of a visually confusing first game. Step up Sky.

The TV viewer will be confronted by 11 unknowns from Sheffield United Vs Jack Grealish + 10 unknowns from Aston Villa. Fucking brilliant idea.

Plus visually, the second game Arsenal Vs Man City might not be all that clearer. Sure, the players are better known, but with all the new beards and changed hairstyles it won't be a walk in the park...

Who ever came up with the BLM slogan needs personal shaming. Yes, we know they matter. And we know that bees make honey, thank you very much.

What a fucking stupid thing to iron onto a football shirt. Some people deserve a really big kick in the bollocks...

REALLY...This subject is winding me up more and more each day.

What the f*ck..I don`t know what to say?

They will probably end up having a minute's silence for George Floyd, rather than those who lost their lives to Coronavirus?

Whose idea is this?

I looked at the UK BBC News website page this morning and it was ALL about BLM.

It seems to be,they want to cause division and divide?

I think that may happen.

A very popular doctor at my wife's hospital trust (also happened to be a black fella incidentally) died from Covid19 3 weeks ago. By all accounts he was pulling 20 hour+ shifts on the covid ward and undoubtedly lowered his immune system by running himself down and helping people . . he caught the disease from the very people he was saving.

He was an Arsenal ST holder. If anyone deserves a moments silence or round of applause at the Arse v City match it's him and let's not forget that Pep Guardiola's mum also died from Coronavirus.

I'm sure many people mean well but in their attempts to appear caring they are actually acting in quite a heartless, callous and disrespectful way.
