Coming over in june for a wedding, I know wrong time of year. Will do my customary visit to Stratford, where I was born, and a walk around the stadium. Will the legendary boats still be moored for a peek even if shut?

Yes mate, they do a little boat trip around the canal as well and serve as a bar etc
