CAD

Post by JayK »

Hi guys,

Random request but wondering if any of you might have an old CAD DWG I could get off ya? I wanna have a dabble after a few years away from it now and figured it would be easier to amend one rather than start from scratch.

Thanks in advance

You aren’t getting much help here Jay!

I used some road and infrastructure design software for a number of years, but nothing that would be of any use for what I imagine you are wanting it for.

Surely there’s someone on here that’s used CivilCAD or 12D?

Google: free CAD software. There are a number of CAD software companies that offer a basic model of program for free, but they’ll probably try getting you to upgrade.

😂 CAD = Computer Assisted Design. It’s for doing floor plans. What DIY stores would use to plan out your new bathroom or kitchen etc.

Cheers Oz. Got the software. Just need an old DWG I can manipulate so I can do some home planning. Will see if those companies can whack me over something 👍🏽
